Daniel Novoa Asin (35), President of Ecuador, became the youngest president in history by 5 weeks.

Ecuadorian President Noboa, born on November 30, 1987, began his four-year term as president after taking the oath of office held at the National Assembly on the 23rd (local time), one week before his 36th birthday.

President Noboa comes from a banana tycoon, the so-called golden spoon, and his father is lawmaker Alvaro Noboa, who ran for president five times but failed to achieve his goals.
