What is vinegar used for on wooden doors and how should it be used?

The cleaning experts on the Hogarmanía site warn that, before resorting to vinegar to clean a door, it is necessary to take into account the finish of the wood: Natural wood is not comparable (the use of vinegar is not recommended) to wood treated with products such as paints, lacquers or similar. How to clean natural wood doors

A door made of natural wood, i.e. untreated and porous, it can be stained if you clean it with an abrasive product or vinegar. In this case, it should be cleaned as follows:

  • Then remove the stains with a solution of ammonia and water; Rinse with a slightly damp microfibre cloth and finish with a completely dry cloth to remove moisture.
