Delicious in Dungeon: when the first chapter of the new Netflix anime comes out

A new anime adaptation is added to the catalog of Netflix: Delicious in the Dungeon. The series is inspired by the manga Ryōko Kuiwhose publication began in February 2014 and ended in September 2023.

The adaptation will be carried out by Studio Trigger, directed by Yoshihiro Miyajima and written by Kimiko Ueno. It was also confirmed that the person responsible for the character designs will be Naoki Takeda, and the music will be written by Yasunori Mitsuda and Shunsuke Tsuchiya.

In August 2022, the adaptation of the series was confirmed and only last year the first two trailers were revealed to introduce the main protagonists. The first will be broadcast for two consecutive years and 24 chapters in its first delivery.

The manga adaptation Delicious in the Dungeonalso known as Dungeon Meshi or Dungeons and Dungeons in Spanish, it already has a release date and will be this Thursday January 4th. The opening theme will be Orchestra walking in its sleepperformed by Bump of Chicken, and the closing Party!!by Ryokuōshoku Shakai.

“Dungeons, devourers and delicious monster stews! Nothing is saved by the appetite of these adventurers when they enter a cursed kingdom to save one of their own”, this is how Netflix presents its new television series.

Delicious in Dungeon: where to watch the first episode of the anime

The first chapter of Delicious in Dungeon will be released this Thursday, January 4 via Tokyo MX. Outside of Asia, Netflix obtained the worldwide license for the series. The chapters are expected to be released weekly, although the schedule is still unknown.
