A woman escaped her kidnapper because she made a rescue gesture that she learned in TikTok. Fortunately, he found someone who understood the code and acted on time.
The curious and stressful situation happened on Sunday, April 10, at a Hickman service station in Tennessee, but it started earlier at the home of the victim’s younger brother.

As Johnathon and the woman fled, police arrived at the gas station. There was a violent chase which resulted in Smith’s car colliding with the creek.
The kidnapper left the vehicle walking. His escape did not last long: police found him, electrocuted him and took him into custody. He did not suffer any injuries.
