On February 8, Netflix will publish the series adaptation of a novel that made its mark, thanks to its film with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgessto an entire generation of love story fans.

The plot of both the novel and the film follows Emma and Dexter, two young people with opposite personalities who meet on graduation day and have seen each other every July 15th for twenty years.

We are talking about Always the same day (One day), 2011 film directed by Lonely Scherfig which can currently be seen on Star+. The production that will arrive on Netflix will be a series of the same name that will tell, more differences, less differences, the same story.

The series Always the Same Day is directed by Molly good manners and was made in the UK. They recite it Ambika Mod AND Leo Woodall, two young actors who are taking their first steps. During that interview, the actress had a hard time. She couldn’t “say a word” and explain why she should be the protagonist of the film.

So, after leaving the meeting, he wrote a list of songs with the message: “I clearly didn’t convey to you what was needed today. But I think these songs can do it for me.”

After hearing the songs, Scherfig didn’t hesitate and hired her to play the lead.
