The life of Griselda Blanco became a topic of conversation again in Latin America after the arrival of Netflix from the miniseries Griselda in which the Colombian actress Sofía Vergara plays the protagonist.

The “godmother of cocaine”, the one who founded the Medellín cartel (Colombia) in the mid-1970s, is said to have been killed for the first time at the age of 12. Approximately 250 deaths are attributed to him.

In 2012, Griselda had been living illegally in Colombia for years. She was released in 2004 for health reasons and deported to her hometown to settle there.

On the afternoon of September 3, the 69-year-old woman left a butcher’s shop with her pregnant ex-daughter-in-law and two hitmen on a motorbike intercepted her. One of them, aged around 25, got out of the vehicle and shot him twice in the head..

Blanco had just spent 300,000 pesos on meat at a place called Cardiso, located on the corner of Thirtieth Street, when the gunman who shot him got back on his motorcycle and disappeared from sight.

With the help of her ex-daughter-in-law, who remained unharmed by the attack, Blanco was transferred to the Belén Intermediate Unit, where she eventually died.

Although the cause of her murder is unconfirmed, Blanco is believed to have been murdered by a do the math.

Uber was allegedly killed in an alleged showdown while in prison. And Osvaldo, or “Ozzie”, as he was known, was allegedly murdered in a bowling alley by a group of hitmen.

fourth son of Blanco, Michele Corleone, is alive and is said to have withstood seven attacks against him. Today he lives in the United States with his wife Marie and their three children.

Michael, named after the character in the film The Godfather, was a regular visitor to Instagram, a social network where he had more than 200,000 followers.

Griselda is told that Michael was kept away from his mother’s dirty business thanks to his father, Darío, who would later be murdered in Medellín by two men disguised as police officers. It is believed that Blanco may have had something to do with his death.
