The King of England, Charles III, Last Monday he left hospital in London, where he had been admitted the previous Friday, when he underwent surgery enlargement of the prostate.

Charles III, who ascended the throne 16 months ago, was diagnosed with one BPH on Jan. 17 after experiencing undisclosed symptoms.

“The king was released from hospital after a… scheduled medical treatment and rescheduled upcoming public engagements to allow for a private recovery period,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement late Monday.

75 years old, Carlos III thanked the work of the medical team that treated him, as well as all the messages of good wishes he received in recent days.

“His Majesty thanks the medical team and all those who helped him during his stay in hospital, as well as all the kind messages he has received in recent days”, concludes the official text released by the Royal Palace.

According to several British media, Buckingham predicts that Charles III do not participate in official activities for one month to complete the recovery.

Catherine, 42, who has returned to her home in Windsor to continue her recovery, is “making good progress”, according to a statement from her official home, Kensington Palace.

The Prince of Wales, William, has not yet assumed his official duties, while his wife remains hospitalized and will not do so during her convalescence to accompany her and take care of their three children, Princes George, Charlotte and Louis.
