The brutal attack by a man on several women in the subway shocks Barcelona

The images shock and generate indignation. Without saying a word or any explanation, a man it affected several women who were waiting for the metro in Barcelona. One of the victims received a brutal punch who even threw her to the ground.

According to reports, the attack took place around 10am this Friday, on the platform of the L5 line, at the Camp de l’Arpa stop.

The worst thing happened to a young woman who was looking at her cell phone, distracted by the situation happening around her. The man gained momentum and It hit her directly in the face. Due to the force of the impact they both ended up on the ground.

The violent man promptly reunited and even during his escape he continued to throw blows at the people he met on his way.

Barcelona Metropolitan Transport (TMB) said the man was arrested by security guards and handed over to the police. However, he was not arrested even though an investigation was opened against him. Although his identity was not revealed, he was a young North African with a criminal record.

The woman who suffered the worst attack suffered only minor injuries and was rescued at the scene. The TMB made itself available to the victims and condemned the behavior.

The sequence quickly went viral on social networks and generated user anger. While some directly criticized the violent man, especially due to his immigration status, others also criticized the failure of witnesses to intervene.
