Israel released a video of the Hamas leader escaping through a tunnel and looking for him

The army of Israel released a video this Tuesday in which, according to him, it appears the head of Hamas in Gaza, Yahya Sinuarin a tunnel of the Palestinian territory. “This video or any other is not what really matters. What matters is the information we collect that will allow us find senior Hamas officials and the hostages,” Hagari added, without specifying where the images were shot.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said this last week Sinuar goes “from hiding place to hiding place”as Israeli forces advanced towards the southern Gaza Strip and continued to bombard Khan Yunis, his hometown.

Sinuar joined Hamas when the group was founded in 1987, the year the first Intifada broke out, the uprising against Israel’s alleged occupation of lands claimed by the Palestinians.
