This Thursday, one of the most shocking tragedies of last year resurfaced on the Internet: the implosion of the Titanic submarine.
It was after the appearance of an audio that the rescuers heard during the search for the submarine and this made them think that the crew of the Titan, about whom nothing was known at the time, they could be alive.
On June 18, 2023, in international waters of the Atlantic, the OceanGate submarine traveled to the bottom of the ocean and never resurfaced.
After a search lasting approximately 80 hours, the wreckage of the ship was discovered. It was later concluded that it had imploded and killed its five crew members instantly.
The audio, although it has already circulated on social media, will be broadcast in the British documentary on Canale 5 The Titan submarine disaster: minute by minute on March 5 and 6.
The audio reproduces the attacks against metal which occurred at 11.30pm on June 20th. These sounded at thirty minute intervals, leading to the belief that they may have been a distress signal from the crew.
Unfortunately, the call for help was quickly rejected when rescuers realized that the sounds could not be produced by humans due to their “unusual symmetry”.

They will be shown to the public for the first time in a Canale 5 documentary.
Authorities have suggested they may have been produced by the ocean or other ships in the area, although it is not yet known exactly where they emerged from.
The animation that explains the implosion
One of the videos explaining how the Titanic submarine imploded was all the rage on YouTube. The clip published by AiTelly, a channel specializing in original 4K and 3D engineering animations, allows us to understand what happened to Titan on its mission to the wreckage of the ocean liner.
AiTelly attributes Titan’s total destruction to high hydrostatic pressure. According to the engineers who developed the video, the submarine was destroyed “in a fraction of a millisecond”. Another part of the responsibility lies with those who built the Titan for using carbon fiber.
“Existing technology is based on steel, titanium and aluminium. It is these that prevented the destruction of other submarines. But the Titan was an experimental design,” the video says.

It was June 22 when it was confirmed that the submarine had imploded three days earlier at a depth of almost 1,700 meters in the North Atlantic Ocean.
