Bridge collapse in Baltimore: bodies of two victims found

The suspension of the search was announced in the same conference in which the discovery of the bodies of two of the six victims of the collapse was announced.

It’s about Mexican Alejandro Fernandez Fuentes35 years old, and Guatemalan Dorlián Castillo Cabrera26 years old, who were found inside a red truck underwater.

His relatives have already been informed of the discovery of the remains.

Both were part of the group of eight construction workers, all Latinowho were filling potholes on the Francis Scott Key Bridge last Tuesday when Dali’s ship hit the infrastructure.

Two of them were rescued alive, while the other six are presumed dead. Alejandro Fernández Fuentes and Dorlián Castillo Cabrera are the first bodies recovered.

As regards the nationality of the six victims, they are two Mexicans, two Guatemalans, one Honduran and one Salvadoran.

Before the collision, the crew of the container ship issued an emergency warning, which stopped vehicle traffic on the deck and averted a major tragedy, according to authorities.
