The United States and fifty countries view Guaidó as interim president of Venezuela, alleging that President Nicolás Maduro’s 2018 re-election was fraudulent.

“In the first 36 hours, 9,706 people visited the working port and 850 records were made on the embassy’s platform,” says Johan Merchán, communications director of the diplomatic mission, explaining that Amazon does not provide a certain number of services. vacancies.

This program primarily benefits Venezuelans with Temporary Protection Status (TPS) or political asylum, but is open to anyone on American soil.

TPS is a temporary, renewable program that prevents deportation and provides access to a work permit for foreign nationals who are unable to return safely to their country of origin due to natural disasters, armed conflict or other extraordinary circumstances.

In a statement released Sunday, Vecchio said the US government is taking steps to speed up the TPS process for Venezuelans.

“He promised we’d start seeing changes from now on. That makes us think we’re going to start seeing an increase in TPS pass rate and work permits,” he says.
