Tracey Smith, 31, was born without a uterus and her mother agreed to fertilization with Tracey’s husband, Adam, 40. So Emma Miles began taking hormonal drugs to promote the effectiveness of fertilization.

Women over 35 are at greater risk of miscarriage and other pregnancy complications that can be fatal.. But Emma decided to proceed with her surrogacy despite being advised against it.

So, this lady from Lampeter, Wales, gave birth to the little one Eve. The baby was born by caesarean section and both Emma and the baby showed no complications. Ms Miles, who is also the mother of Nicola, 24, said: “Finding out that Tracey couldn’t have children was destroying me.”

“She rarely felt able to open up, but when I had the chance, right after my diagnosis, I remember sitting on her bed and telling her, ‘I’m here if you need me.’”

“Despite my age, I wasn’t worried about giving birth at all. All my focus was on doing something special for my daughter,” she told the Daily Mail. “I feel no more attached to Evie than any other proud grandmother. Tracey is my baby and I did everything for her to be a mother.”

“Now I’m happy to go back to work and do it normally. But I offered to do it all over again if I ever wanted a little brother or sister for Evie.”

Emma is believed to be one of Britain’s greatest surrogate mothers. In 2011, Pamela Butler, 57, became her eldest after giving birth to her grandson Josef.

And in 2016, a 67-year-old Greek woman, Anastasia Ontou, became the world’s greatest mother-grandmother. She also brought her daughter’s son.
