Some say, as highlighted this Wednesday Times from London, that the brilliant director Stanley Kubrick is turning in his grave after seeing his masterpiece smeared “2001: A Space Odyssey” by Donald Trump’s campaign team, in their latest video ahead of the November elections in the United States.

Taking advantage of the crowds that the recent eclipse attracted in North America, Trump posted Truth Social on his social network a video in which a sun seems about to be eclipsed with the epic music from a space odyssey. A legend warns that “the most important moment in human history will take place in 2024.” But he is clearly not referring to Tuesday’s total solar eclipse, but to Trump’s eventual victory in November.

The sun in the video begins to be eclipsed by a figure that at first glance resembles the Moon, but is actually the outlined face of Trump, who ends up covering the star to the ecstatic screams of the dark-glassed crowd.

“We will save America and make it great again,” the video reads, with multiple people screaming in complete ecstasy.

“Trump 2024”

Finally, a collection of faces of Americans of different races and ages follow one another until they converge in the shouts of “USA” “USA” and the final message: “Trump 2024”.
