Michael military analyst Khodaryonok circumvented the censorship of Russian state television and criticized the state of the war in Ukraine. He says that Russia is almost completely isolated, that Ukraine can mobilize a million troops in addition to the support of countries in the West.

Khodaryonok appeared on 60 Minutes Rossiva-1 hosted by Olga Skabeyeva, a retired colonel and one of television’s leading pro-Kremlin journalists.

“You should not take the information as a sedative,” said Mikhail Khodaryonok. “The situation, frankly, will only get worse for us.”

During the conversation, the retired military was interrupted several times by the presenter.

On state television, the colonel says that Russia must face the facts.

“The most important thing in our field is to have a sense of military-political realism: If you go beyond that, the reality of history hits you so hard that you don’t know what hit you,” he said. “For God’s sake, don’t shoot rockets at Finland. It looks really funny.”

The main shortcoming of our political-military position is that we are in complete geopolitical isolation. Even if we don’t want to admit it, almost the whole world is against us. We need to get out of this situation.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, under the pretext of demilitarizing and gentrifying the region.

In March, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri pezkovHe said that if Kyiv surrendered militarily, the operation would “end in an instant”. nato (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) or European Union to recognize Crimea, which was annexed in 2014, as Russian and so-called separatist republics Donbassin the east, as independents.

This week Sweden and Finland have requested to join NATO – the move is the result of the currently 83-day war. The two countries are members of the European Union, but historically they have remained neutral between the West and Russia.

However, the invasion of Ukraine caused them to reconsider their neutral status, especially Finland, which shares a 1300 km border with Russian territory. Sweden was quieter, but Finland’s accession would make it the only Baltic Sea country outside of NATO.
