Fifteen people, including 14 children, were killed in Tuesday’s shooting at an elementary school in South Texas, state Governor Gregg Abbott said.
The shooter violently and senselessly killed 14 students and killed one teachersaid Greg Abbott, adding that the 18-year-old suspect also died in the tragedy, which hit Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 130 kilometers west of San Antonio.
