Putin says Russia is ready to facilitate grain shipments from Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin told Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Monday that Russia is ready to facilitate unhindered sea transit of cargo, including grain, through Ukrainian ports, the Kremlin said in a statement.

Putin also reiterated that, according to the Kremlin, Russia could export significant amounts of fertilizers and food if the sanctions imposed on Moscow for its invasion of Ukraine were lifted.
