The acts for Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II includes a whole series of official, public and private activities, here the main events.

Thursday 2nd June

  • Trooping the color

It is the Parade of the Horse Guards, in the Shopping Center, on the occasion of the celebration of the official birthday of the sovereign. Watch the passage of 1,200 officers and soldiers and 240 horses from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. There are screens in St James Park and it is broadcast all over the world. The ceremony will begin at 11.00 UK time (7.00 in Buenos Aires).

  • Royal Air Force plane ticket

He will be seen by the Queen and the entire “working” Royal Family together with their children. Harry and Meghan won’t bethe Dukes of Sussex, or Prince Andrew, son of Elizabeth II, due to the Epstein case.

  • Illumination of the “Beacons” for the Platinum Jubilee

They are fireworks. It will be held across the country and in the capitals of Commonwealth countries. A royal tradition that is repeated in large celebrations, weddings and coronations, it is a symbol of unity throughout the kingdom.

Friday 3

  • Thanksgiving service

Mass for the reign of the Queen at St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral in London. The entire royal family participates, including Prince Andrew, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Saturday 4

  • The derby, the Epsom Downs

The horse race that the queen has attended all her life. She will be represented by her daughter Princess Royal Anna and her family.

  • Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor Windsor first year

It is the first birthday of the Queen’s great-granddaughter and daughter of Harry and Meghan, Dukes of Sussex. The queen will receive them for the occasion.

  • Platinum Party at the Palace

At sunset, the BBC will organize and broadcast a concert with world-famous stars to celebrate the most significant moments of the reign of Elizabeth II. They will be Sir Elton John, Diana Ross, Brian May, the guitarist of Queen, among others. The Queen will attend the concert on television from Windsor Palace. 30,000 people are expected.

Sunday 5

  • The great jubilee dinner

There will be street parties all over the country. The royal family will send its members to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. 10 million people are expected to join the celebrations.

  • The Great Windsor Lunch

A lunchtime picnic will become the longest ever, in front of Windsor Palace, where the ruler lives.

  • The Platinum Jubilee Show

It will be a festival with over 5,000 people from across the UK and the Commonwealth. There will be street arts, theater, music, circus, carnival and costumes. There will be Prince Charles and Camilla, future queen consort, and William and Kate, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The queen’s life will be remembered, her great moments.

The ruler will not travel in the golden royal carriage through the Mall, the great avenue leading to the palace. But a big surprise awaits us.
