He has lost the support of four out of ten of his MPs, who are now demanding his resignation and pressuring his ministers to request it. Boris’s political agony has begun.
A new threat is on the march. Labor could ask the Prime Minister for a vote of confidence in the House of Commons. The motion would be laid bare the civil war which was unleashed in the conservative party, as in the worst days of the conflict that divided the party in the 90s, between pro-Europeans and eurosceptics.

The major differences of the Conservatives versus Boris are in favor your leadership style, your behavior and that of those around you.
Officially Boris is saved from another vote of confidence for a year. But with the kingdom submerged by a spectacular and unpredictable political crisis, the Committee of 1922, the highest party authorityyou can change the rules to allow another vote of confidence much sooner, if Johnson does not resign. Like Thatcher?
His margin of victory is less than that granted to Theresa May in January 2019. The premier was ousted within seven months of his vote of confidence. Johnson faced the same opposition as her MPs on Monday night Margaret Thatcher’s in 1990. She stepped down two days later. his toilet turned against her.
That “Thatcherian” scenario is what the rebellious Conservative MPs want to provoke today in the Cabinet in Downing St. Boris is under the same pressure as on Monday. Nobody knows how long it will survive.
It will affect the personality of the Prime Minister: none of those who know him believe that in these hours he will deliver his resignation. He got up very early this Tuesday for jogging with Dylin, her puppy.
