Two friends who quit their jobs to start their own tequila cocktails from your kitchen now bill thousands of dollars.

The couple dedicated themselves full-time to their business in March 2021, thereafter quit work at Sky and ASOSwhere everyone had a annual salary between $ 37,000 and $ 50,000.
How entrepreneurship was born
“The concept of Pimentae it originated largely in the kitchen”He confides to Wynter The mirror. He describes: “We often sat on the balcony, drank spicy margaritas and always wondered who would prepare and serve the next round.”
Wynter and Alice traveled to Mexico to bring their tequila brand to life.
“We use ours friends as test groups to sample various iterations of our spicy margaritas, ranking them according to flavor, sweetness, aroma, color and how much they would be willing to pay, “says the successful entrepreneur.
For the six months leading up to the launch, due to restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have been working from home.
“Luckily Alice and I lived very close to each other, just a three minute walk away. So we take advantage of every free time to shape our product and bring the concept to the market ”, she says, proud of the results achieved.

Over the past year, friends have gotten more than $ 100,000 in net sales and they say their greatest success has come from fairs and festivals, reports the British newspaper.
“Our bank account feels like a roller coaster ride, with big expenses followed by significant income, depending on whether it’s the timing of a production or a festival season,” explains Wynter.
Tequila learning and business
Starting the friends tequila business wasn’t easy at all. Few are known to usually pay attention to the effort behind a success.
Wynter Karo, one of the English entrepreneurs.
“We have learned the hard way, if you need it, there is probably a shortage worldwide,” says the entrepreneur.
“Due to Mexican law and the strict regulations surrounding the agave plant, tequila can only be made in Mexico and, in turn, imported into the UK“, warns as key data of the process.
Hence a constant supply was imperative for them to produce their cocktails regularly based on demand.
“Unfortunately we were too early to work directly with a tequila brand, so we ordered our tequila in bulk through a wholesaler,” explains the other girl.
The Pimentae brand launched by friends offers two different tequila-based drinks.
“Five days before our production run, these dates were set in stone by the manufacturer, our wholesaler sold 700 bottles of our tequila to a larger brand, so we were out of stock for our next round.”
Tequila and growth
Wynter and Alice have no regrets about their trip and plan to grow their business in the coming months.
Currently the girls have no employees, but they intend to do so hire part-time brand ambassadors over the summer.
They detail that the friends-launched brand offers two different tequila-based drinks: Tommy’s Chilli Margarita and the Cucumber and Elderflower Eclipse mix, launched last month.
