A journalist from Araraquara, Sao Paulo, Brazil, went to follow a fatal accident between a car and a truck on Rodovia Antonio Machado Sant’Anna (SP-255) and she found out during the broadcast that her son was the fatal victim of the collision.
Carlos Alberto Baldassari was making a live broadcast on his Facebook news page and, approaching the crash site, he discovered that the car involved was that of his son, Tiago Cequeto Baldassari, 32 years old.
The broadcast was interrupted and, a few moments later, the reporter started a new live broadcast and confirmed that the victim was his son, who accompanied him in the presentations of the programs on the “Balda News” channel.
Tiago was 32 years old and worked as a journalist in Sao Paulo.
Tiago left his wife, three months pregnant, an 8-year-old daughter, his parents and his family.
“Unfortunately, in this world of information, there are times when we have to cover events that involve family members. Unfortunately today he is my son. We lose Thiago and may God welcome him with open arms, he’s a good guy, with a good heart, “he said excitedly.
The truck collided head-on with the deceased man’s car, a Volkswagen Gol, near the entrance to Parque San Pablo.

The truck driver informed the Traffic Police that he was following the additional lane of the road when the vehicle would invade the lane and cause the accident.
Firefighters and the Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) intervened on the spot to rescue the victims, but the driver of the vehicle died instantly.
The son and his father had an information program on Facebook.
The police diverted traffic to one of the freeway lanes to preserve the place for carrying out the skills.
