Venezuela and Iran, at the center of the Argentine scene
The news takes on a certain relevance in our country because the relationship between these two countries has become the protagonist, with the arrival at Ezeiza airport of a Venezuelan-Iranian plane which is formally investigated by the Justice for alleged irregularities.
The situation has generated a request for explanations from the opposition arc against several official officials. Together for the change, for example, he asked the Minister of Security, Aníbal Fernández, to report to the Chamber of Deputies to provide details on the situation on the plane.
The invitation was also extended to the Foreign Minister, Santiago Cafiero. The Minister of the Interior, Wado de Pedro, and his counterpart in Transport, Alexis Guerrera, were also targeted in requests for interpellations and reports.
The plane would have been owned by the Iranian company Mahan Air, sanctioned by the United States, which in January of this year would have sold it to Emtrasur, the freight airline of the Venezuelan state Conviasa.
This Monday, for the second consecutive day, the Tehran regime left to take off from the plane, which is being held in Ezeiza. He believed it was a “propaganda operation” against Iran.
