On Ukrainian Father’s Day, Zelensky shared a photo of families at war

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky shared photos and messages about Father’s Day using social media this Sunday (19). History is celebrated in the country today.

“Being a father is a great responsibility and a great happiness. It is strength, wisdom, motivation to keep going and not give up,” Zelensky wrote. Saying goodbye to his children, he shared photos of his hometown in military uniforms in hospitals.

Today is the 116th day of the conflict in Ukraine. Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of the country, the government has called on citizens to support the Ukrainian army.

“And no matter how difficult it may be – to protect and defend what is most valuable. The future of your family, your children, and therefore the whole of Ukraine,” he added.

In the comments of the publications, the followers of the president wished health and well-being. “May all parents come home alive,” wrote one person.

NATO secretary general says war could go on for years

Jens Stoltenberg, secretary general of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), said that the war in Ukraine could last for years and the cost would be high.

“We have to be prepared for the fact that [a guerra] “It could take years,” said Stoltenberg. “We must not weaken our support for Ukraine, even if the costs are high, not only in terms of military support, but also because of rising energy and food prices.”
