A good number of British paratroopers – hundreds of them – have been excluded from a NATO deployment after being accused of having been part of one or more orgies with a civilian woman in the barracks.

As reported by the London Times, videos have appeared in recent weeks of skydivers having sex with this woman while other colleagues watched. Eight of them, serving with the UK’s 16th Air Assault Brigade, were under police investigation for this.

Reports, which came to light a few weeks ago, reveal that the woman was willingly infiltrated in the Merville barracks, in Colchester, up to 31 times in the past five months.

This news was the straw that broke the camel’s back for the interrogated group, as during a drill in North Macedonia, many of the now excluded soldiers were accused of “unprofessional behavior” during the drill.

The decision to remove the paratroopers was made by the new head of the British army, the general Sir Patrick Sanders.

Sanders told his generals and commanders in a letter that he would not “endanger the mission or reputation of the British army” by sending troops overseas.

“My message to the military is clear: our license to operate is based on trust and we must meet the highest standards. Such behavior is unacceptable, corrosive and damaging to the military’s reputation, “the army chief wrote, according to the Times.

“I am not prepared to risk the NATO mission or the reputation of the British Army by deploying 3 Para at this time,” he concluded.

Military police eventually confirmed that there was no crime involved in the alleged orgies, but Sanders acknowledged that what the soldiers did “denigrates women” and goes against the values of the military.

unusual mess

On December 31 last year, a group of 70 people threw a party in a house in a city of Barcelona, Spain, and it all ended in a scandal typical of Creole skits.

Everything was going “fine” until two orgy participants made a rookie mistake: they took the wrong direction and tried to enter the party through the wrong door. Sure, the neighbor thought it was criminals who wanted to enter his house and called the police. When the agents arrived, the image was not the best.

The unusual situation occurred in the city of Lissá de Munt, a small town in the region of Catalonia with 15,000 inhabitants.

According to the police alert reproduced by the newspaper El Mundo, officers received a phone call from a neighbor saying that two people were trying to enter his home. When the patrol arrived, they identified the suspects who explained that they were going to another house, where a party was being held, and had the wrong place.

As capacity limits and a ban on illegal parties were in place, officers went to this house and found a party with between 50 and 70 peoplenot counting those on the top floor of the building, “having sex,” according to the report.

The local police identified the people and forwarded the complaints to the Ministry of the Interior so that a file can be dealt with in the event of non-compliance with current regulations to prevent the spread of Covid.
