Iranian police detained 120 people for “consumption of alcohol”, “not wearing a headscarf” and “mixed dance” at an “illegal” party held in a forest in northern Iran’s Mazandaran province, state media reported on Sunday. 19).

According to Islamic law, which has been in effect in Iran since the 1979 Revolution, women are required to wear a headscarf that covers their head, neck and hair.

And only non-Muslim citizens are allowed to consume alcohol during religious ceremonies. It is also forbidden to dance with someone of the opposite sex.
