The couple is accused of qualified murder and the daughter of refusal to help for failing to report or notify the emergency room.

The investigations

Jessica’s wake will be held this Thursday at the Capela da Anunciada, and the door of the venue has been closed to avoid tensions between some of the neighbors.

Jessica’s mother and grandmother, the three-year-old girl who died in Setúbal, felt ill after seeing the girl’s condition inside the coffin.

According to Correio da Manha, the girl’s body was unrecognizable after being tortured and beaten, in what was a violent death.
