Zelensky posted the video in his daily speech last night. The website of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense also published, along with the information that 2,811 Russian missiles hit the country during the war:

“It is clear that the Russian assassins were given the correct coordinates for this missile. They wanted to kill as many people as possible in an ordinary shopping mall in a peaceful city,” he said.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the “very frequently visited” shopping center in Kremenchuk was attacked by missiles fired by Tu-22 long-range bombers from Russia’s Kursk region.

The attack was described by UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric as “utterly disgusting” on Monday. US President Joe Biden described the bombing as “brutal”, while the G7 called the action a “war crime”.

The Russian military said it attacked an arms depot in Kremenchuk and triggered blasts that set fire to a shopping mall that officials said was closed.

“Explosions of ammunition for Western weapons caused a fire at the nearby mall, which was then inactive,” the army said in a statement.
