several people died in a shooting at Field’s Mall. So says Chief Inspector of Police Søren Thomassen of the Copenhagen Police at a press conference on Sunday evening.
Additionally, three people were hospitalized after the shooting recorded this afternoon at the Fields shopping center in Copenhagen, Denmark, Rigshospitalet hospital press secretary Jacob Aaen confirmed, according to Danish network TV2.
Copenhagen police previously reported on Twitter that reinforcements had been sent to the mall, located in a neighborhood between the city center and the airport, after receiving reports of a shooting.
“There have been gunshots and several people have been shot,” he said, without specifying victims or deaths, as he confirmed the arrest of a suspect in connection with the shooting.

“Currently we cannot say more about his identity“, He added.
The Danish media reported that many people left at high speed the mall just before 6:30 pm local time.
The mayor of Copenhagen, Sophie Andersen, spoke on Twitter of a “very serious” incident of which it is not yet known for sure how many are injured or dead.

About 650 meters from Fields Shopping Center is also the Royal Arena Pavilion, where British singer Harry Styles was supposed to hold a concert so all the tickets have been sold and according to the organizers it will take place, but apparently it will start a little later than expected.
Styles himself wrote on the Snapchat social network that he was “shocked” and claimed that he and his entire team are praying for all those affected.
