A square in front of the British embassy in Moscow will be named after pro-Kremlin separatists in Ukraine, Russian officials said on Monday.
Moscow authorities reported that more than 100,000 people participated in a poll to determine where the “Lugansk People’s Republic Square” will be built.

The city said that over 56% of respondents agreed that the square should be located in the Smolenskaia district, opposite the British embassy.
In June, the area opposite the US Embassy in Moscow was renamed “Donetsk People’s Square”.
