This is the fantasy of many children: take a freshly bought egg out of the box, put it in a warm place and wait a few days for a nice chick to hatch.
The problem is, it’s almost impossible to get it. This unusual situation happened to a British woman after shopping at Morrisons, the largest local chain in the country.
Deza Empson, 31, from Redcar, Yorkshire, bought six eggs and on a whim put them in an incubator he had bought on Amazon. The ducklings began pecking themselves out of their shells three weeks later, with baby River and Dusk arriving first, followed by Daisy the next day.
The woman had bought a carton of duck eggs.

She put five eggs in an incubator and three hatched.
He’d seen a video from TikTok where someone tested an incubator with supermarket duck eggs, so he used five and unwrapped a broken one.
Deza saw the development of veins on four duck eggs after five days, and then began to see the little duckling shapes grow and begin to move.
One of the developing chicks failed after a couple of weeks, so Deza removed it from the nest. They hatched on 11 and 12 June.
Ducks are having fun in the bathtub of the woman’s house.
Now all the little ones are asleep upstairs and Deza has to reach the small cage when the duckling cries out.
He said Daisy screams and wags her tail every time she sees her human “mom”.
Chicks are happy with their “human” mom.
Deza said, “They are so adorable, but it wasn’t what I expected at all. The eggs you buy at the grocery store shouldn’t be fertile. My grandmother loves duck eggs as well he won’t touch them anymore now that he knows they might be alive, and friends to whom I have told they don’t want to eat eggs anymore. ”
