Four people were killed when two small planes collided in-flight at Las Vegas airport on Sunday (17), according to officials and local media.
A single-engine Piper PA-46 collided with another single-engine Cessna 172 as it was preparing to take off at Las Vegas North Airport in Nevada, USA, at noon (local time). A statement to AFP is the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the American civil aviation agency.
“Piper crashed into an area east of runway 30-Right and Cessna crashed into a conservation lake,” the agency said. “There were two people on each plane.”
Local media reported that 4 people lost their lives in the accident, referring to the municipal authorities.
According to the FAA, an investigation is ongoing.
