A video showing the training of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry in the center of Minsk was posted on social media. The footage shows the paratrooper having trouble landing.

There is no information about the possible injuries of the man. The theory is that training should be about preparing for war-related issues in Ukraine.

In June, Kyiv accused Russia of wanting to “pull” Moscow’s diplomatic ally, Minsk, into the war. Because Ukraine was informed that a city was bombed by Russian missiles from Belarus.

“Today’s attack was directly linked to the Kremlin’s efforts to bring Belarus to war in Ukraine,” Ukraine’s Defense Ministry General Directorate of Information said in Telegram. According to the Ukrainian Information Service, “six Tu-22M3 aircraft fired 12 cruise missiles from the town of Petrykawé in southern Belarus”.

Although Belarus did not formally participate in the war, it provided logistical support to the Moscow troops. Russian President Vladimir Putin has even announced that Russia will deliver Iskender-M missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads to the ally country “in the coming months”.

In early July, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko claimed that his army had intercepted missiles launched by Ukraine. He also accused the West of bringing the world closer to a major war, of being “at war with Russia” and raising “Nazism to the level of a state ideology” for its military and financial support to Ukraine.
