Regional governor Oleg Synegubov said on Thursday two people were killed and 19 injured in Russian shelling of Kharkov, Ukraine’s second city in the northeast.
“19 people, including a child, were injured. Unfortunately, four people are in serious condition. Two people died,” Synegubov said on social media.

The governor stated that the bombing was carried out with multiple rocket launchers.
The city of Kharkov, about 40 km from the Russian border, has been bombarded by the Russian army since February 24, when the invasion began, but Moscow troops were never able to take it.
