Attacks in Odessa: after denying it, Russia admits having destroyed “military infrastructure”

Russian missiles targeted the port of Odessa on Saturday, a day after Kyiv and Moscow signed an agreement to allow Ukraine’s grain exports to resume.

The spokeswoman for Russian diplomacy said on Sunday that Russian missiles had destroyed military infrastructure the previous day in the port of Odessa, vital for the export of Ukrainian grain.

“Kalibr missiles destroyed the military infrastructure in the port of Odessa, with a high-precision strike,” wrote Maria Zakharova on her Telegram account, in response to a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which she said that these strikes they had destroyed the possibility of a dialogue or an agreement with Moscow.
