Drop in temperatures in the coming days

However, there is good news: the heat is expected to partially subside on Monday and an “upper trough” is expected in California, which should allow “temperatures to moderate a bit,” according to forecasters.

But not all regions will benefit: temperatures of 37°C or higher are forecast for the next few days in parts of eastern Kansas and Oklahoma, southern Missouri and northern Arkansas.
