Ukraine on Tuesday condemned new Russian attacks on Odessa province, which is at the center of the agreement to allow grain exports via the Black Sea.
According to the spokesman of the Odessa military administration, Sergey Bratchuk, the missiles were launched by “strategic aircraft” and crashed into the state coast.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Instagram, “There is no military base, troops. Russian terrorists just wanted to shoot. They will pay for it.” Moscow also attacked Mykolaiv Port, which was not covered by the grain agreement.
Odessa and Mykolaiv provinces are not part of Russia’s main declared target, the so-called Donbass, but Kremlin representatives have already indicated that regions beyond Donetsk and Lugansk are also targeted.
Last Saturday (23), less than a day after the signing of the grain transport agreement, Moscow had already attacked structures in the Ukrainian port of Odessa.
