Sadie Tan and her boyfriend Colin they got tired of living in clothes, so they decided to spend their days completely naked. To do this, they shaped their lives in such a way that no one stood in their way.

“Wearing clothes is like wearing a costume and none of them feel like ‘me’. The clothes give you the feeling of overlapping the expectations and pressures of modern life, like overlapping anxiety, ”the 32-year-old told Jam Press and NeedToKnow.online.

The environmental biology student assured that it was she who persuaded her partner to walk naked all his life.

“I’ve always loved the feeling of being naked. I prefer to be naked because I feel so much more comfortable that way. I feel free and full of joy “.

As long as no one bothers them with their way of understanding things, they surround themselves with the right people, like Hannah Y Neila couple with whom they share the same philosophy, and no longer go to the supermarket: now they only eat wild foods.

A journey in the open air

Currently, Sadie and Colin are cycling through the UK, their homeland, with Hannah and Neil. Their mission is to spend the summer driving naked to raise money for the environmental conservation group Rewild Britain.

Tann said they are “extremely passionate about nature” and therefore want to “help others find their connection” with it.

There is no shortage of adventures on his way. Indeed, they are full of obstacles. There are people who cannot understand how it is that they walk naked on public streets and get angry with them. At the beginning of the month, for this reason, a man threw the car at them and trampled them on the ground.

“The accident shook us deeply and we wondered if we could continue the journey. We spent the night at a friend’s house and they took care of us … but we didn’t want to walk around naked, “Tann recalled.

“Once we have moved further on in the journey, we have started to regain confidence and now we feel that we will not let this horrible act stop us. This is what makes us feel free and we will live our lives true to ourselves. “

The couple, however, defend themselves by arguing that in England and Wales it is legal to walk naked on the street unless someone is attacked or harassed. And they’re not doing any of that, they say.

Unlike what happened to them with the enraged driver, many people tend to join them on their journey by stripping to share a few blocks with them and then return to their respective routes. A clear demonstration of support on their journey of solidarity.

Naked, but in protest

In May of this year, Argentine singer Denise Romano stripped naked on Florida Street, Buenos Aires, in protest “against the music industry”.

“It is my voice and the voice of thousands of artists fighting in a hypocritical environment,” said the young woman who questioned the use of autotune and performed “RCP” on a guitar in her performance.

The artist pointed out that with his new song he tries to “resurrect the music” and took the opportunity to refer to his new song: “My protest is written in my song ‘Paul is not Lennon’ for those who they want to know what is about, you can listen to it on all platforms or watch the video where it is more understood on YouTube “.

On the social network, she shared the video of her protest and described: “I am a musician, a multi-instrumentalist composer, I listen to all kinds of music, reggaeton, cumbia, tango, folklore, pop and rock, I am true to myself, but this is a problem in a system where what matters are the numbers, the reproductions, the followers or the genres in fashion to open the doors to the sector “.
