In just one month, 23 clinics in Texas, five in Oklahoma and five in Alabama have closed or changed their businesses. The same happened with health centers in eight other states.
“In some of these states abortion was totally prohibited and in others a law has come into force that prohibits it at six weeks of pregnancy,” Liza Fuentes, one of the researchers at the Guttmacher Institute, told RFI.
