Sunday morning was not at all quiet in New York. A man walking along Seventh Avenue in Manhattan picked a woman at random, he sneaked up to her and he cut it violently with a utility knife.
In a video released by the New York police, it can be seen how the assailant appears from behind the woman and, after a silent and pronounced movement of his armed arm, attacks the limb of his victim. After cutting it, he walks backwards and runs away.
The woman, who was returning from shopping with her shopping cart, was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. the man ran away. The police demand that those who have seen it give notice.

The sinister case occurred in broad daylight in one of the busiest places in New York. The man acted incomprehensibly to the sight of dozens of passers-by.
According to the authorities, It was an unprovoked assault. In fact, the attacker approached the lady from behind her without ever having exchanged words with her.

Ferocious murder in Italy
And the violence continues. On Friday, a 39-year-old street vendor, Alika Ogorchukwu, was killed in broad daylight in Civitanova Marche in central Italy. He was killed by a local 32-year-old named Filippo Claudio Ferlazzo after knocking him to the ground.

The trader was Nigerian. He had a wife and an 8-year-old son. Ferlazzo was arrested for voluntary homicide and robberysince after killing Alika he also took his cell phone.
All this was recorded for the passive attitude of the witnesses, who instead of trying to separate them recorded the beating with their phones.
“The murder of Alika Ogorchukwu is overwhelming. The unprecedented ferocity. The widespread indifference. There can be no justification, nor is silence enough. The extreme outrage against Alika would be to turn the page and forget”, denounced the leader of the Democratic Party , Enrico Letta.
