The young woman has more than 280,000 followers on TikTok.
Fires are a constant plague on the environment during this northern summer. In Spain alone, according to provisional data from the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, almost 135,000 hectares have already been burned, a figure that triples the average of the last ten years.
But It is a problem that affects everyone, especially in Mediterranean countries that suffer from low rainfall and excessive temperatures. Portugal is one of them and the fire is lurking.
In this gloomy context, some videos that have gone viral on social networks have aroused great indignation because in them a young woman appears dancing in front of the flames of a forest fire.
In the clip we see the girl on a terrace, where she never misses an opportunity to put herself into practice one of the trendy dances of TikTok as the forest burns behind them.
As if that weren’t enough, hours later posted another video where you could see a man in the same position trying to mitigate the fire with a hose so that it did not reach the house.
However, both videos have been deleted from the young woman’s TikTok account, who is @daniibom_ and has more than 280,000 followers, after receiving thousands of negative comments about it.
Indignation in the networks
Although the clip has been removed from TikTok, several Twitter accounts continue to spread to highlight the frivolity of the girl, who dances without hesitation and with a smile despite the forest disaster.
User @ElementalELM reposted the video under the title “Drop the meteorite”getting over 2.5 million views and comments.
One of those who echoed was writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte, who retweeted the video and commented: “There are those who argue that human life is sacred.“,
Tiktoker at inopportune moments
The overexposure that some people are subjected to on social networks seems to make them lose perspective where is the limit of privacy or ridicule.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen TikTok videos that show totally dystopian scenes in the eyes of others, like a reggaeton dance of a young influencer after losing his grandfather or the immediate reaction of a nurse after the death of a patient.
