Ignoring China’s strong opposition and serious efforts, US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited China’s Taiwan region. This is a serious violation the principle of a single China and the provisions of the three Joint Communiqués between China and the United States.

It has severely impacted the political foundations of Sino-US relations, grossly violated China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, seriously undermined the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait, and sent a very wrong signal to the secessionist forces to the “independence” of Taiwan “.

To all this, the government and the Chinese people categorically condemnand have adopted a series of economic and military countermeasures, in order to counter the claims of external interference and secessionist forces for “Taiwan independence” and show the firm determination, unyielding will and powerful ability to uphold the principle of a China and finally achieve the reunification of the motherland.

There is only one China in the world, Taiwan is an inalienable part of the Chinese territory, and the government of the People’s Republic of China is the only legitimate government representing all of China.

This it was clearly recognized by the international community and constitutes a fundamental principle of international relations.

In October 1971 the United Nations General Assembly approved Resolution no. 2758: it decides to return all its rights to the People’s Republic of China and to recognize the representatives of its government as the only legitimate representatives of China at the United Nations, as well as to immediately expel Chiang Kai-shek’s representatives from their posts illegally in the Nations Unite and in all related agencies.

From then on, the UN and its specific bodies, as well as other international and regional organizations, abide by the provisions of that resolution and argue that Taiwan, as a province of China, does not enjoy independent status, the authority Taiwanese does not enjoy the governmental status of any demonstration and the corresponding denomination is Taiwan, a province of China.

Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China 73 years ago, the 181 countries that have diplomatic relations with China recognize that there is only one China in the world. Taiwan is an inalienable part of the Chinese territory..

In recent years, the US side has claimed to adhere to the one-China policy, but in terms of actions it has weakened and even hollowed out the one-China principle, relentlessly raising the level of state-to-state contact in the US and Taiwan and has steadily increased its arms sales to Taiwanin support of the secessionist forces for “Taiwan independence”.

Regarding the dangerous US maneuvers on the Taiwan issue, at this year’s World Economic Forum (WEF), former US Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger explicitly stated: “My understanding of the deal was that the United States would have supported the one Chinese Principle ”.

“And I think it is essential that these principles are respected and that the United States should not, through subterfuge or a piecemeal process, develop something like a ‘two Chinese’ solution.”

A visit to the Taiwan region by the president of the US House of Representatives ignoring warnings from the Chinese side, as the second official in the US presidential succession line, has grossly violated the policy of a China in which the administration is engaged US, represents a major political provocation that elevates official interactions and substantial ties between the United States and Taiwan, to the detriment of peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.

tough answer

The US side has reneged on its promises, brutally meddled in China’s internal affairs, undermined China’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, caused confrontation between blocs, registered US-imposed bullying, which has become the greatest destroyer of peace today.

The historical trajectory of the Taiwan issue is very clear, and also the fact and the status quo that both sides of the Taiwan Strait belong to the same China.

We strongly oppose the secessionist activities of “Taiwan independence” and interference from outside forces and never leave room for secessionist forces of any kind for “Taiwan independence”.

The Taiwan issue arose out of the country’s weakness and instability in the past, but will be resolved during the nation’s revitalization process. Any country, strength and personality, with the illusion of hindering the reunification of China, of sabotaging the development and reinvigoration of the country, of manipulating regional confrontation and of confusing good and evil at will, is doomed to fail miserably. .

China will be reunified without fail, an unstoppable historical trend. Now China has found a successful development path in accordance with its national realities.

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, 1.4 billion Chinese are making great strides towards Chinese-style modernization. The search for peace, stability, development and shared profit are consistent with the general will of the peoples of the different latitudes. Those who embrace this trend will thrive. Those who reject it will fail. The just cause of the Chinese and world people will surely triumph.
