The US president, who tested positive again after coming out of quarantine for the first time, is no longer infected with coronavirus. A second test will be conducted before he can be released from isolation.

US President Joe Biden tested negative for covid-19 on Saturday, the White House announced. The septuagenarian leader remains in isolation pending a second negative test, his doctor, Kevin O’Connor, said.

“The president continues to feel great,” he said in a letter.

He tested positive for covid-19 for the first time on July 21, Joe Biden had tested negative and then suffered a “rebound” in positivity on July 30.
