A life full of children
With such a large family, Alexis is a stay-at-home mom. And she swears she’s had enough and her thirteenth child “will be the last child.”
“I had another boy and I must have another girl on the 13th of this month. If the family was big before, I don’t know how to qualify it now, “confides the mother.
And yes, the woman insists on acknowledging that it is “immune” to most contraceptive methods (obviously his claim is questionable) and now she is thinking of sterilizing herself.
“It never bothered me if it was a boy or a girl, it was just a shock with the first one, and it was shocking this time too. Cameron is the first, I don’t know what I’ll call the new one, I’ll decide shortly,” reveals the woman who she has spent more than half of the past two decades pregnant.

“After Cameron, who will soon be three years old, number 12 has arrived. Born 12 weeks early last May, he was premature. Fortunately, everything is normal now for the 13th child, I am anxious to finish the course because I am already 42 years old… ”, slides.
Husband retired and present
David is now retired and is in charge of family purchases. Anyway, dating 12 kids can be tricky.
“My husband had to retire last year, but I won’t work with so many children around here anymore.” He does most of the shopping, my second son drives and he can accompany me when I have to go somewhere, “Alexis says of part of the complex family routine.

“The summer holidays are a challenge because we all have them at home. We are in our fifth week now and are a little bored. Let’s go to the park, to swim, to the beach, things like that “, he also explains the news of him in the European summer.
Older children don’t always join because they are teenagers, only six go with their parents and so they get by in the car.
What will be the house that contains this fabulous family is another of the questions that are usually asked at the wedding of Highlands in Scotland. “We have five rooms, the three largest are in one room and the others are distributed and shared,” says the father.
Some data is enough to measure the work that this large family entails. The pair begins to become ace 5.30 in the morning drink a coffee in the only “quiet” moment of the day and take a shower before the children start leaving for kindergarten and school.
Alexis and David with all their men awaited the arrival of a girl.
On the other side of the main door of the house there are some 40 pairs of slippersplus school shoes and rain boots of all sizes, neatly stacked in a shoe cabinet.
Other shocking numbers: Alexis washes 49 loads of laundry a week and vacuum seven times a day. As funny and impossible as it sounds, he says, “It’s not easy, but I like everything clean and tidy. I can’t stand clutter.”
Parkinson’s disease
Between the birth and the moment of happiness, the family had to go through a difficult time: David was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease six years ago. Since it is at an early stage, it still does not affect your performance in daily activities.
“The drug helps with the symptoms, which fortunately are even minor. Receiving the news was a hard blow, but you always have to fight, ”he says firmly, supported by his family.
David said he suffers from Parkinson’s, which for now does not affect the family’s daily life.
Despite his daily battle for health, he says of his large family: “I wouldn’t do it any other way. I always try to find time for each of our kids. “
Although the family has a seven-seater minivan and a five-seater Range RoverAlexis cannot drive.
Thus, most weekends, David goes out with the older children while his wife stays at home with the younger ones. If they want to go somewhere with the family, David takes a double trip.
The arrival of a girl after 10 boys
After having 10 boys in a row, Alexis was surprised to learn that she had a girlfriend on the way and that she already was I wouldn’t live in an all-male family.
The excitement of the arrival of the girl after 10 boys was incredible.
“I was hoping to know we were going to have another boy. But when I found out it was a girl, my face changed. I was shocked and happy at the same time. Now that he’s with us, it’s a great feeling, ”she admits, as excited as if it were yesterday.
“All my children are special to me, if another baby was on the way I wouldn’t have worried. If we had so many babies, we were often asked why we were expecting that elusive girl,” she adds.
Dad David said: “Overall, they were much kinder to her, trying to keep quiet in case she woke up. They also wanted to help her hold and feed her. It was a magical moment.”
At the time, the couple insisted that Cameron would mark the end of their family, but that wouldn’t be the case. In fact, I have also planned return to her job as a part-time fitness instructor… but there was another child.
