On Sunday, an explosion occurred at a fireworks warehouse in a shopping mall in the Armenian capital Yerevan, killing two and injuring 60, Russian news agencies reported.
Video footage showed thick gray smoke rising above a building, followed by an explosion that caused the crowd to flee the scene.
While clouds of dust and smoke hung in the air, many people were trying to clear the rubble and debris from the damaged building. Others were helping the victims.
The Ministry of Health of Armenia said that the number of injured has reached 60, and 22 of them have been discharged. The body said via Telegram that two people were dead.
It was not immediately clear what caused the fireworks to explode.
