The Ministry of Emergencies announced that five people were killed in an explosion on Sunday in a commercial district of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
According to the ministry statement, 19 people are missing, with more than 60 injured in the explosion.

The fatal victims are a man and four women.
The Office of the Chief Public Prosecutor of Armenia announced that an investigation has been launched on the allegation of “violation of the regulation on the storage of combustible products and fire regulations”, which caused the death of many people as a result of “negligence”.

The explosion occurred in a fireworks warehouse in Sürmulu Market.
