The information was released this Sunday (21) by the Russian Investigative Committee. He was a journalist and political scientist, and also openly supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Convinced that the alleged attack was premeditated, Russian authorities are investigating whether the case was murder.
Russia blamed Ukraine…
Denis Pushilin, leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic in eastern Ukraine, blamed Ukrainian forces for the explosion. “Terrorists of the Ukrainian regime tried to liquidate Alexander Dugin but killed his daughter,” he wrote on his Telegram account.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria V. Zakharova refrained from attributing the alleged attack to the neighboring country, but if Ukraine’s responsibility is confirmed, “Then we will have to talk about the terror policy of the state, which Russia has adopted the Kyiv regime”.
“We are waiting for the results of the investigation,” said Zakharova, also on Telegram, according to The New York Times.
… And Ukraine denied involvement
Ukraine denies any involvement in the alleged attack.
“Of course Ukraine had nothing to do with this, because we are not criminals like Russia. More than that, we are not a terrorist state,” Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, told local television.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
Who was Dugina?
Daria Platonova Dugina, a graduate of philosophy, was 29 years old and was a journalist and political scientist, according to the Russian Investigative Committee. She was editor-in-chief of the United World International (UWI) website, which argued that Ukraine would “destroy” if it joined NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), a military alliance of 30 countries.
Dugina was the daughter of Alexander Dugin, whose influence on Russian President Vladimir Putin has been the subject of speculation. Some experts call it important, hence the reason for nicknames such as “Putin’s philosopher”, “Putin’s brain” and even “modern Rasputin”. But for others, Dugin’s influence on Putin was minimal.
Father and daughter openly supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
