Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky said Wednesday Ukraine will resist the Russian invasion “To the end” without making “any concessions or commitments”, in a message for the country’s Independence Day, which coincides with the six months of war.
“We are not interested in the army they have, we are only interested in our land. We will fight for it to the end,” Zelenski said in a video released in the morning on the occasion of the commemoration of Independence.

Referring to Russia, which launched an offensive against his country on February 24, he promised that Ukraine “will not try to get along with the terrorists”.
Russia says it hit more than 200 positions of Ukrainian forces in one day
Russian forces beat 212 positions of Ukrainian troops in the last hours e destroyed seven command postsaccording to the latter part of the Russian defense ministry.
“In one day, seven command posts were attacked … as well as the forces and military equipment of the Ukrainian army in 212 districts,” said military spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
He added that Russian troops continue to advance into Ukraine’s Donetsk region, where the opponent has lost “more than 600 soldiers” in one day.
Another 160 soldiers, according to Konashénkov, “refused to continue fighting”.
