Passengers on their way to Atlanta, South Carolina, United States, experienced an unexpected event shortly after landing at Charleston International Airport. They had to wait for a crocodile to cross the airport runway to get off the plane.

The case was reported by passenger John Moroney, who used his social media to describe the unusual situation. According to him, the Delta Airlines plane landed at Charleston International Airport at 7:00 pm on Saturday.

However, as the passengers were preparing to disembark, they were told by the pilot that they had to wait a few minutes inside the plane until a crocodile had finished crossing the runway.

John took a photo of the animal at the scene from the plane’s window.

It’s not that an alligator popped up on a US airport runway and caused problems.

A similar case was recorded in April, according to the Naval Air Base in Key West, Florida. At that time, a crocodile was spotted sunbathing on the track.

The track had to be closed as the reptile would not leave the field. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission was called, and a professional hunter took the alligator off the trail.
