The convoy of IEA experts was able to leave after a first stop
The 14 experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency were blocked for just over an hour and a half at the last Ukrainian checkpoint and then were able to leave.
In question: Attacks near the site of the power plant since Thursday morning, for which Ukraine and Russia refuse to claim responsibility.

IAEA visit to Zaporizhia plant starts Thursday
This is a high risk visit. Several experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are expected this Thursday at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in southeastern Ukraine.
A mission maintained despite the bombing and violence that surrounds the place. Ukraine wants a “permanent” presence at the site of experts to prevent a possible nuclear disaster.
