Man Filmed ‘Having Sex’ With Sacred Statue In Thailand Arrested

A man in Thailand has been arrested after he was caught “having sex” with a statue considered sacred in the country. According to Thai newspaper Thaiger, 30-year-old Preechar Chumpla was naked at the Thao Suranaree, or Ya Mo Monument, in Non Somboon.

The monument in question honors the royal king Thao Suranari, who died in 1852 and is considered one of the main heroines of the country.

According to the publication, the story began when Chumpla’s own parents decided to call the police after an attack. They reported that their son was drugged, assaulted the couple, and then left home last Friday (26).

The man was found naked on the family roof by agents. However, he refused to go down.

Despite the presence of the police, unsuccessful He managed to flee the scene and rushed to the sacred monument, where it was recorded that he had sexual intercourse with the statue.

The police were able to find him only later. It’s around 3:20 p.m. (local time) when residents are disgusted with the scene. Chumpla was said to have been at the monument for over two hours and when the police arrived, people beat him with sticks to bring him down.

He was taken to the police station and was proven to have used amphetamines. He is now awaiting trial and could face up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
